Alternatively, candidates who have passed Sections A & B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering are also eligible.

Equivalent qualifications recognized by Executive or Standing Orders of Government are acceptable.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 18 and 36 years of age as on 01.01.2025 (born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 inclusive).

Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates.

Provisional hands working in Kerala Water Authority are eligible for age relaxation up to 5 years subject to conditions.

Vacancy Details

The number of vacancies for the Assistant Engineer post is anticipated and will be notified by the Kerala Public Service Commission.

4% of the total vacancies are reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates as per G.O.(P) No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023.
