Educational Qualification
1) Pass in Technical High School Leaving Certificate Examination with specialization in the appropriate trade.
OR
2) (i) Pass in Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination or Equivalent.
(ii) National Trade Certificate in the appropriate trade OR Kerala Government Certificate in Engineering Examination in the appropriate trade OR Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate Course in the appropriate trade.
Note: Qualifications recognized by government executive orders or standing orders as equivalent are also accepted. Degrees/Diplomas from UGC-approved institutions are valid.
Age Limit
18 to 36 years as on 01.01.2026. Candidates must have been born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included).
Relaxation in age is applicable as per government rules for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Communities, and differently-abled candidates. Technical Education Department officers may get additional relaxation up to 10 years, with a maximum age limit of 50 years.
Vacancy Details
There are a total of 3 vacancies available for the Tradesman Masonary post statewide in Kerala.
Reservation: 4% of the total vacancies are reserved for eligible differently-abled candidates as per G.O.(P) No. 5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023.
