Candidates selected will be responsible for electrical maintenance and related outdoor works within various districts of Kerala. The role involves practical skills such as climbing electric poles and ensuring the safety and reliability of electrical installations.
This recruitment is district-wise, with vacancies distributed across multiple districts, and candidates must apply for only one district as per the notification guidelines.
Educational Qualification
1. Pass in SSLC or its equivalent.
2. Government approved 2 year National/State Trade Certificate in Electrician or Wireman.
3. Physical Standards:
- Minimum Height: Male - 5' 2" (157.48 cm), Female - 4' 9" (144.78 cm)
- Vision: Normal, free from colour blindness.
- Physically fit for outdoor work, including climbing 9m electric poles within 8 minutes (tested practically).
Age Limit
18 to 40 years as on eligibility date.
Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included) are eligible.
Usual age relaxation applies for SC/ST and OBC candidates as per government rules.
Maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years under any circumstances.
